Maj. Paeta Derek Hess-von Kruedener still awaits notice from the Prime Minister of his country who fudged a gutless half-promise to respond to results from an investigation into willful Israeli artillery fire that killed Hess-von Kruedener.
Worthy of note as an aside to the cowardly slaying of Hess-von Kruedener was an Iraeli official’s declaration many, many months after the murder, about the pin point accuracy of Israeli artillery fire.
Is it safe to assume, in the absence of further comment from Steve that he too, sold his soul for 30 pieces of silver?
What does that say to Canadian troops in Afghanistan when the leader of their country deserts his post and responsibility so as to not ruffle feathers of HIS new best friends?
At least the Limey’s stick up for their troops.

How Far Can You Throw A Conservative?

To paraphrase a question raised by Liberal Health Critic, Laurie Blakeman, what is it about Alberta Conservatives MLA’s that would make them design a piece of legislation for the exclusive use of 255 people?
As a 6 decade veteran under the rule of the only government in the western world to ever be found guilty of fraud in a court of law, my guess is, though not one of them has ever achieved anything that could truly be classified as clever, they sure as hell have learned that hiding a bus one bolt at a time is a lot easier than trying to bury a fleet of them all at once.
On the other hand, maybe we should start to more trustful of Conservatives…………

Think Tank Struggles For Legitimacy?

The Fraser Institute struggling? Hardly. But if there’s a half-assed struggling Canadian wannabe to the USA’s Discovery Institute it has to be the Fraser Institute. Passing themselves off as a “Think Tank”, this thoughtless tub dispenses everything from Ralph Klein wisdoms to an annual report on schools in Alberta. Undoubtedly, the Fraser Tub doesn’t do it for nothing and sure as hell elements within Ralph’s old dingdong crowd arrange for taxpayers to put up the cash to have the Fraser’s anal oracles tell the world that the Fraser’s research says all the private schools in Alberta are doing sweller than all them public institutes. Damned if they didn’t do it again. And where else but in Alberta will there be a boot-drool media response as the “righteous” forth brigade suck it in an blow it out their grist mill in a fashion that’d make the Devil himself stand in open mouthed admiration.
As for the Fraser’s “Report Card” on Alberta schools, teacher’s federations condemn Fraser’s “report card” as being “seriously misleading….full of unwarranted distortions”. No kidding! The report card has an agenda folks; it’s predetermined purpose is solely to insure ongoing taxpayer support for right wing educational institutes….and the next generation of God only knows what.
So what? Well take a bit of time and read a dated view on the subject of “think tanks” –

Finally, lets give a little credit where it’s due; the Fraser Institute is where our very own Governor of Canada’s New Government held his one and only real job….at least he was issued paycheques indicating employment of some kind.
What’daya think? Is it possible the Governor really does have a hidden agenda? You bet your aunt fanny. But he's just a tiny bit of a cog in the machinery that's grinding away in the background. In Canada that translates to taxpayers dollars funding political outhouses the likes of the Fraser Institute.
I wonder if Canada's New Government has payed for Fraser Wisdoms? I mean other than environmental distortions.
